By bike, by train, by car, and even by boat…And why not on foot?!!
All roads and paths (or almost all) lead to Fécamp!!

On site, the possibilities for travel are varied and promise you a discovery at your own pace: bus services, bike rentals, hiking along the GR®21…

And what a great way to enjoy our bucolic landscapes!

Go slow...

Holidays or weekends help to slow down the movement.
Enjoy bucolic and seaside landscapes within leg’s reach!”

In Fécamp, our must-sees are accessible by soft mobility: forget your car and go on foot or by bike. This is the best way to discover our destination.

By riding along the coastline and taking the GR®21, itinerants will discover Fécamp and the surrounding villages from the cliffs: a first postcard image!

Prepare my trip along the GR®21 :

Walking lovers or Sunday hikers will also take advantage of the GR®21 to go to the nearby valleys: Grainval or Vaucottes will reveal themselves all the better!

Be careful to respect the safety rules:

  • Never approach the cliff edge
  • Never walk along the foot of the cliff
  • Stay on the hiking trails

What is a valley?

In the Pays de Caux, the valleuse is a depression in the terrain allowing access to the sea. On the rest of the coast, this access is prevented by the height of the chalky cliffs.

We distinguish:

  • the valleuses vives:natural depressions (Fécamp, Yport, Étretat…) ;
  • the dead valleuses : access to the shoreline then requires a human development (stairs …) ;
  • the perched valleuses : simple depressions of the land but not allowing or no longer access to the shoreline.
