The Michel-Patrick, known as the "MilPat".

Launched in 1962 by the Lecoeur brothers’ yard in Lesconil for fishing in the Irish and Finistère seas, this rig is one of the rare representatives of artisanal, multipurpose fishing boats typical of the Bigouden country.

The boat crossed the piers of Fécamp on Saturday, July 7, 2001. After seven years of work, the traditional sailboat “Milpat” is sailing again.

The Aunt Fine

1961, the boat leaves the shipyards Kersandy & Gourlaouen in Plouhinec in Brittany. This lobster boat is ready to go to sea to fish for tuna. It bears the diminutive name of its benefactor “Tante Fine”, Josephine the aunt of the three fishermen.

In 1990 the boat was bought and restored during more than 12,000 hours of work in Fécamp by the association AFDAM. La Tante Fine took to the sea again in 1994 and took on board all audiences.

The Sea remains one of the last truly free spaces, but full of constraints…
