Les Petites Dalles is renowned for the cliffs which surround the village and beach and which inspired impressionist painters such as Claude Monet and Berthe Morisot and for the many well-kept seaside villas dating back to the 19th century. This former fishing village boasts one of the valleys of the Pays de Caux where Sissi, Empress of Austria, liked to swim.
