Following the success of the exhibition ????? ?????, ?? ???? ?? ???????? ?? ????, guided tours of the exhibition, which were offered by the Archives-Heritage department last summer, are being reprogrammed during the All Saints and Christmas school vacations.

Anita Conti is a singular figure in the maritime world: a self-taught oceanography pioneer, the "lady of the sea" embarked on the trawlers Vikings in 1939 and Bois Rosé in 1951.

Her documentary work has helped raise public awareness of fishing and resource depletion.

Using objects and documents from the museum and municipal archives, and photographs from the archive deposited in Lorient, this exhibition aims to capture a moment in cod fishing as experienced by Anita Conti. The exhibition will be punctuated by plates and drawings from the comic strip dedicated to her in 2024 by illustrator Catel and scriptwriter José-Louis Bocquet.
